Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

The Best Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!, this is the sentiment of millions of people all around the world. When you mix strawberries with chocolate you have a magical, mouth watering and delicious dessert.

Sometimes I just make Chocolate Dipped Strawberries for fun, my chocolate lover understands. I don’t eat them all but sometimes I’ve come close though but I do try to share when I can. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are always a good party, wedding or baby-shower dessert. Most people think you can only have dipped strawberries on Valentine’s Day but that is far from the truth.

Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are so easy and simple to make.   All you need is a dozen of Fresh Strawberries and Melting Chocolate

How to prepare:

Wash your strawberries thoroughly with cold water. Pat dry and place on a paper towel to completely dry. While the strawberries are drying, prepare your dipping chocolate . I prefer to use a glass bowl or cup to melt my chocolate in. In a small glass bowl place half of a bag of melting chocolates into the bowl. Some people have a melting pot but I melt my the old fashion way using the microwave.

Place your bowl with chocolate in the microwave for 20-30 sec increments, removing each time to stir. I only have to put it in the microwave twice before it’s all melted. Stir Chocolate to make sure everything has melted. Place a piece of parchment paper on the counter and place strawberries on it.

Now it’s time to dip your Strawberries. Grab your strawberry by the green leaf at the top, gathering it together and hold firmly but not too firm as to pull apart, because it will break. Next you will tilt the bowl or cup and dip  your strawberry until covered, shaking gently to remove any excess chocolate. Place Strawberries on parchment paper to dry. Once dried I dipp again on the backside to seal and keep strawberries from leaking.

Drizzle sprinkles or more chocolate over Strawberries to decorate. Place in the refrigerator until you’re ready to eat or deliver.
